Finally a comfortable sleep sofa where you no longer have to sacrifice comfort for convenience! The Comfort Sleeper by American Leather provides a solid wood support base underneath the mattress, eliminating the metal bars associated with a poor night's sleep. The plush, high-density, high-resiliency foam mattress is 5" thick and has no springs to create uncomfortable pressure points.

Conventional sleepers retro-fit a mattress into a standard-sized sofa. Although they call it a "Queen" you'll find that the mattress is only 72 - 75 inches long, yet when unfolded it takes up 90"-95" of floor space. The American Leather Comfort Sleeper starts with standard size mattresses and designs the sofa around them. This original concept in combination with the unique, patented Tiffany 24/7 mechanism gives you more mattress in less floor space. When unfolded The Comfort Sleeper takes up only 85" from the back of the sofa to the end of the mattress. Additionally, there is no wasted space between the mattress and the arms and back of the sofa. This results in a smaller scale sofa from arm to arm. For example, several of the Queen Comfort Sleepers are only 69" at the widest point (from arm to arm) but contain a true queen sized mattress: 60" W x 80" L.

The Comfort Sleeper offers three mattress options.

Premier Mattress: The Comfort Sleeper’s Premier foam mattress is the only one protected by a Crypton mattress ticking, a waterproof, stain-proof covering that resists allergens and dust mites.

Gel Mattress: The Gel offers a blended foam mattress, mixing a conventional foam base with a “gel foam” topper for coolness and support. The unique “Open Cell” design supports air and moisture movement, creating a cooler sleeping experience.
